A 45-minute introductory meeting with your family physician. We review your full medical history, family background, and health goals.
Comprehensive blood work, physical examination, and any indicated screenings. Your personal health profile is established.
A tailored health strategy with clear priorities, preventive measures, and specialist referrals where needed.
Regular follow-ups, proactive monitoring, and direct access to your physician throughout the year.
We deliver the continuity and depth of care that modern healthcare should provide, but rarely does.
No rotating doctors. Your family physician is your single point of contact for every visit, every question, every referral.
Standard clinic appointments are 15 minutes. Ours are three times longer, giving space for proper examination and dialogue.
No six-week waits. When something comes up, you are seen promptly by a doctor who already knows your history.
Cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, psychiatry, and more — all under one roof with warm referrals and shared records.
We do not wait for symptoms. Annual deep-dive assessments catch concerns early, when intervention is most effective.
From paediatric check-ups to adult chronic disease management. One clinic, one physician, one family.
Book an introductory consultation with your family physician and experience healthcare built around continuity.
The Swedish public Vårdcentral system handles primary care, but visit length (10-15 min), wait times, and physician rotation often leave complex multi-system patients underserved. A private family doctor in Stockholm means a single physician who knows your full medical history, has time to address the why behind your symptoms, and can coordinate access to specialist disciplines without remiss waits.
Public Vårdcentral works fine for standard acute issues (infections, minor injuries, prescription refills) and chronic disease management with an established care chain.
Private family medicine is the right fit when you have unexplained multi-system symptoms, want comprehensive preventive screening, need same-week specialist access, want continuity with a single physician across years, or hold international health insurance you want to actually use.
Single consultation: 1,500-2,500 SEK. See full transparent pricing →
Membership: 20,000 SEK/year covers unlimited consultations with your own physician and a full Health Baseline every year.
We direct-bill Cigna Global, Allianz Care, AXA Global Healthcare at point of care — most clinics in Stockholm don’t have this infrastructure. Read more about insurance partnerships →
Do I need a remiss to see a private family doctor in Stockholm?
No. Helprivat (fully private) care does not require remiss from Vårdcentral. You book directly.
Can a private family doctor write me a sjukintyg (sick certificate)?
Yes. Any legitimerad läkare (licensed physician) can issue sjukintyg, public or private. For sick leave longer than 14 days, Försäkringskassan reviews documentation regardless of issuing clinic.
How much does a private family doctor consultation cost in Stockholm?
At The Health Clinic Stockholm, a first visit (60 min) is 1,500-2,500 SEK. Follow-ups (30 min) are 1,200 SEK. Members (20,000 SEK/year) get unlimited consultations with their own physician included.
Can I use my Swedish private insurance (Skandia, Trygg-Hansa, If, Länsförsäkringar) here?
Most Swedish private insurance covers specialist consultations. Bring your insurance details — we provide ICD-10 coded invoices for claim submission.
What’s the difference between a private family doctor and concierge medicine?
Concierge medicine adds a membership layer (continuous access, longer consultations, broader scope) on top of standard private practice. Our membership (20,000 SEK/year) is a concierge model.
