Common questionsFrequently asked.
When should I get tested?
After unprotected sex with a new partner, before starting a new relationship, after a partner tests positive, or simply at regular intervals if you have multiple partners. Most STIs cause no symptoms initially, so screening is the only way to know.
Will my information stay private?
Yes. All consultations and results are confidential and held in your private medical record at the clinic. We follow Swedish patient confidentiality law (patientdatalagen) — your results are not shared with employers, insurers, or anyone else without your explicit consent.
What happens if a test comes back positive?
You’ll have a follow-up consultation with a physician — usually within 24 hours of the result. For treatable infections (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, mycoplasma, trichomonas), we initiate treatment the same day. For chronic infections (HIV, hepatitis), we coordinate with infectious-disease specialists for ongoing care.
Can I be treated at the clinic?
Yes — for the common bacterial STIs, treatment is included in the package price. Prescriptions are issued the same day as the diagnosis, and we follow up to confirm resolution. Partner notification support is also available if you’d like help with that step.
What if I’m not sure which package I need?
Book a free 15-minute consultation and we’ll point you to the right one. As a rule: no symptoms → Package 01. Any symptoms (discharge, burning, itching, pain, bleeding) → Package 02.
