Description
Dual-system diagnostic imaging for vascular health and gastrointestinal assessment.
Advanced MRI examination combining detailed vascular imaging of the aorta and vena cava with contrast-enhanced small intestine evaluation. This comprehensive scan provides thorough assessment of major abdominal blood vessels for aneurysms, stenosis, and abnormalities, along with detailed visualization of the small bowel for inflammatory and structural conditions.
What’s Included:
- MR Angiography of aorta and vena cava
- MRI of small intestine with contrast enhancement
- Vascular wall and lumen assessment
- Detailed small bowel evaluation
✓ Doctor’s comment included
✓ Referral, examination and medical report included
✓ Expert radiologist evaluation
✓ Contrast agent and administration included
Ideal For:
- Suspected aortic aneurysm or dissection
- Abdominal vascular abnormalities
- Vascular stenosis or blockages
- Crohn’s disease evaluation
- Chronic abdominal pain
- Small bowel tumors or masses
- Inflammatory bowel disease monitoring
- Unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms
- Comprehensive abdominal health screening
What to Expect:
The scan takes approximately 75-90 minutes to complete both examinations. A small intravenous line will be placed in your arm for contrast injection. You may need to fast for several hours before the examination and drink oral preparation for optimal small bowel imaging. You’ll lie comfortably while detailed images are captured of your vascular structures and intestinal tract. The contrast enhancement provides superior visualization of both blood vessels and bowel walls, helping detect aneurysms, stenosis, inflammation, and other abnormalities.
