How the membership works
Adults
The Health Clinic Stockholm
- Access to an internal medicine specialist
- Each doctor is responsible for only around 100–200 patients, which means more time per visit and genuine continuity.
- Standard appointment length is around 45 minutes, so you don’t feel rushed.
- You can normally reach a doctor within 24–48 hours, including evenings and weekends – with same‑day appointments for urgent issues whenever possible.
- Annual health check‑ups with extended laboratory tests (around 59 markers)
- Advanced diagnostics when needed (e.g. MRI, ultrasound, DEXA)
- Remote monitoring with Withings BeamO – measures heart, lungs, temperature, and ECG, reviewed by your doctor.
Children
Barnsjukhuset Martina Private Care
- Access to Martina’s paediatric emergency clinic with booked times
- Same‑day visits with a paediatrician for acute needs
- Paediatric nurses and paediatric specialists in several areas
- Access to paediatric outpatient clinics (BUMM) via referral when needed
Insurance

All packages have the same core content. In addition to the monthly fee, there is a one‑time family onboarding fee of 10 000 SEK at the start.

Detailed Inclusions

- Unlimited primary care contact with a doctor (digital and in‑person)
- Unlimited primary care contact with a doctor (digital and in‑person) An internal medicine specialist as your continuous medical contact
- Annual health check‑ups with around 59 laboratory markers
- Regular follow‑ups and an individualised health plan
- Membership includes access to advanced diagnostics such as MRI, ultrasound and DEXA scanning when medically indicated. As a rule of thumb, we plan for one whole‑body MRI approximately every 5 years, with the option of an early MRI after 3 months of membership where clinically appropriate.
- Coordination of tests, referrals and contacts with other providers
- Support with self‑care, lifestyle and preventive health
- In special situations we can also arrange discreet home or on‑site visits for members, which is always agreed individually.
- Remote monitoring with Withings BeamO – measures heart, lungs, temperature, and ECG, reviewed by your doctor.
- For children
- Membership in Martina’s private paediatric emergency service
- Access to a paediatrician on the same day for acute needs
- Access to x‑ray, lab tests and ultrasound via Martina when medically indicated
- Possibility of referral to Martina’s BUMM clinics when suitable
- A safe, child‑friendly environment with paediatric nurses and specialists
Children’s care at Martina follows the same conditions as Martina’s own memberships. We pay Martina’s ordinary membership fee per child. You can find Martina’s children memberships here.
- Private health insurance
- Every family member is covered by private health insurance (privat sjukvårdsförsäkring) through one of our insurance partners.
- We help you with the application and paperwork, and we coordinate your care within the insurer’s network when needed.

What is not included
The Family Membership focuses on outpatient medical care and advanced diagnostics. Certain types of care are not included in the membership or the associated private health insurance, such as cosmetic surgery, IVF and fertility treatment, childbirth, psychiatric inpatient care and long‑term home care.

How it works – step by step
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the family membership publicly funded care?
No. The family membership applies to private care at The Health Clinic Stockholm and Barnsjukhuset Martina Private Care, as well as private health insurance.
Do we have to change our current GP or child health centre (BVC)?
Yes. In that case we adapt the setup so that your existing memberships and the insurance are coordinated.
Can we join even if the children are already members at Martina?
The Family Membership runs with a 12‑month minimum term and a 3‑month notice period. If you choose to leave earlier, any services already provided by our partner clinics are simply charged at their normal clinic prices according to a clear price list. Full terms and conditions are specified in your membership agreement.
Is there any age limit for the children?
The family membership can be taken out for children in the age span that Barnsjukhuset Martina accepts within its private services. Older teenagers (up to 21) and adults can be included in appropriate setups.
Does the membership include all types of care?
The membership gives access to the services described above. Certain types of care, e.g. childbirth, may not be included.
How do you ensure responsible and compliant marketing?
We follow Swedish guidelines for healthcare marketing – it must be factual and moderate.
